The Nuanza Hotel & Convention Cikarang is strategically located in Cikarang, an area predominantly known as an industrial hub. While its primary appeal might be for business travelers, it also presents an excellent option for a staycation, particularly for those looking to avoid the notorious traffic between Jakarta and Bandung. Its accessibility near the Cikarang Barat toll road makes it a convenient choice for regional travelers.
Upon arrival, the lobby immediately impresses with its grandeur. It is exceptionally spacious and exudes a luxurious ambiance, characterized by a towering crystal chandelier, high ceilings, elegant gold backdrops and ornaments, and extensive glass walls that amplify the sense of openness. Thoughtfully placed hanging lamps and numerous comfortable sofas provide ample seating for guests, creating a sophisticated and welcoming first impression.
The check-in process was notably swift and efficient, a welcome convenience for any traveler. A refundable deposit of IDR 300,000 was required, a standard procedure for many hotels, which was processed smoothly.
Room & Facilities
Our stay was in a Deluxe Room, located on the 15th floor, offering a pleasant elevation. The room itself was quite spacious, featuring a comfortable King Bed, complemented by two small side tables equipped with a telephone. For entertainment, a 32-inch television was provided, alongside a long desk, a dedicated chair, and an additional long bench, providing ample workspace and relaxation areas. The view from the room offered a glimpse of tall city buildings and the bustling Cikarang Barat toll road.
In-room amenities included complimentary tea, coffee, and two bottles of mineral water, along with a water heater for convenience. A mini-fridge stocked with various beverages was available (chargeable). The large closet was well-appointed with several hangers, a safe deposit box, a sanitary bag, and two pairs of slippers. Notably, an ironing board and iron were also provided, a thoughtful touch for business travelers.
The bathroom, while not overly expansive, was perfectly sized and impeccably clean, a testament to the hotel's recent opening in June 2021. It featured a large mirror, a modern rectangular basin, and a complete set of toiletries, including a mouthwash cup, hairdryer, tissues, and fresh towels. A standout design element was the mosaic gold backdrop behind the toilet, adding a touch of luxury. The shower area was equipped with a water heater, liquid soap, and shampoo, ensuring a comfortable experience.
The hotel boasts an array of impressive facilities. The ballroom is exceptionally vast and opulent, dominated by elegant lighting and gold accents, making it an ideal venue for large corporate meetings, conferences, or grand events such as weddings. For dining, the Aji Brandon Cafe And Resto, located on the 5th floor, offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with captivating city and pool views.
Recreational facilities include a spacious swimming pool area, featuring sections for adults, a relaxing Jacuzzi with warm water, and ample seating and lounging areas for those who prefer to relax poolside. The fitness center is well-equipped with a variety of machines and is quite expansive, though guests are kindly reminded to wear appropriate footwear. Throughout the hotel, numerous aesthetically pleasing spots are available, perfect for capturing memorable photos.
Dining & Service
The dining experience at Nuanza Hotel & Convention Cikarang was a highlight. Dinner was enjoyed at the Aji Brandon Cafe And Resto on the 5th floor, which offers the flexibility of dining indoors or outdoors. The outdoor seating provides a delightful ambiance, allowing guests to savor their meal while enjoying panoramic city views and the beautifully illuminated swimming pool below, creating a truly memorable evening.
Breakfast, served buffet-style at the same restaurant, was comprehensive and varied, catering to diverse palates. The selection included an array of traditional Indonesian dishes such as jamu, nasi goreng (fried rice), and nasi putih (white rice), alongside a wide range of Western options like spaghetti. A particular standout was the live station offering dim sum and bapao, adding an authentic touch. The buffet system allowed guests to serve themselves, ensuring a personalized experience. For younger guests aged 5-12, a charge of IDR 65,000 was applied.
Throughout the stay, the service was consistently professional and efficient. The check-in process was commendably swift. At the fitness center, staff were on hand to provide towels, demonstrating attentiveness to guest needs. The overall impression of the staff was positive, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
